Yesterday marks 47 years since the 1st man walks on the moon, as a race we have come very far and that stands true even in DJ’ing. Although in terms of turntables there hasn’t been much change (if it works why change it) there is a ton of change in the mixers we use today and different types of hardware. Here is and article from Dawsons Music talking about the evolution of DJ equipment! Enjoy!!!

The Evolution And History Of DJ Equipment

Cinco de Mayo

Tomorrow, we’ll be providing the tunes for Cinco de Mayo at Streetbird NYC in Harlem.
Chef Marcus Samuelsson cooks up a mean menu featuring his famous fried chicken, delicious tacos, and other delights. And its 1/2 price Tequila me softly pitchers.
Food will be eaten, drinks will be drunk, and funky beats will be played. We start serving at 6pm, come on out and join us for an evening of revelry!

Queens International Night Market

This Saturday, people from all over NYC and the world will gather at the New York Hall of Science for the Queens International Market.
